We should move to fruit or fresh fruit juice for breakfast and a large salad containing a variety of raw vegetables with lunch and dinner. As we add more raw fruits and vegetables to our meals we will naturally begin to eat less of the other foods. As time goes on, and as the body begins to respond to the supply of fresh wholesome nutrients, we will find that the old foods start to lose some of their appeal. What we used to eat every meal or every day, we begin to eat every other day, then twice a week, then once a week, and so on.

"It's a common misunderstanding that honey is different from other sugars or sweeteners," Dr. Appleton says. "But honey is even more concentrated than table sugar.

When making a stew that calls for meat and vegetables, reduce the meat portion by half and substitute more water- and fiber-rich vegetables. When having pasta, reduce the serving by half and stir in an equal amount of steamed fiber- and water-rich vegetables. When making a sandwich, reduce the meat, fish, or cheese portion by half and add sliced tomato and cucumber, sprouts, lettuce, and onion to increase the water and fiber content.

Despite increasing rates of obesity in children and teens, the Senate hasn't held a hearing on the sale of junk foods in schools since 2003. Cloudy liquids such as fruit juice and milk are colloidal examples of water with macromolecules in suspension. A particle of colloidal silver is so small that 750 of them could fit across a single red blood cell. It is this small size and the electrical charge that each colloidal silver particle has that gives it the ability to enter cells and to combine with other trace elements. Colloidal silver is actually ionic colloidal silver.12 Using the low voltage method, silver is dispersed into water as very small particles (ions). These ions then cluster to form the colloid.

If your triglycerides are above 150 mg/dL, or if you have additional significant risk factors for heart disease such as elevated blood pressure or diabetes, limit fruit, fruit juice, and other simple sugars to one serving per day. Sugar can be eaten in small amounts only if your triglyceride level is below 150 mg/dl. All sugars can increase triglycerides, but fructose is actually more damaging than sucrose and glucose. It gets even worse if you eat high-fructose corn syrup, a very common sweetener used in packaged foods. Fructose increases LDL and does not improve HDL.

Eat organic fresh fruit or drink freshly squeezed fruit juice. Eat or drink only fruit. Try to mix up the fruits during the week. For example, do not eat bananas every morning. Try melons now and then, as they are one of the easiest foods to digest. Melons actually proceed directly to the intestines after being consumed. If they are held up in the stomach by other foods, they will decompose quickly and ferment. A melon is a great way to start the day. You can eat a different variety of fruits throughout the whole morning, but never mix sweet fruits with acid fruits.

It's not surprising that many people report benefits when they eliminate milk, and even concentrated sources of fructose like fruit juice and dried fruit. Whether it's sugar, dairy, or wheat, the best way to identity trigger foods is to simply cut out all the usual suspects and then see what happens. If you add them back slowly, one at a time, you'll soon know which ones are problematic for you.
I routinely put at least four or five drops (4 mg to 5 mg) in a smoothie or fresh vegetable and fruit juice (the folic acid is tasteless!). One more thing: Government agencies don't recommend high levels of folic acid supplementation, but the reason has nothing to do with the safety of folic acid. Doses of up to 20 mg (20,000 meg!) have been used safely with humans, plus it's a water-soluble vitamin, which means you'll get rid of any you don't need. So the problem isn't with taking a lot of folic acid. The problem is that folic acid can mask the symptoms of B12 deficiency.
I've long been an advocate of daily, fresh-made vegetable and fruit juice (see The 150 Healthiest Foods on Earth). Vegetables and fruits also help balance the system by providing a nice alkaline balance to our highly acidic, overly processed standard American diet. Alternately, some of the "green drinks" now found in health food supermarkets are a great choice Natural Breath Mints In addition to the above recommendations, herbs and spices can sweeten your breath.
